  /    /    /  Student Designs: Narrative

The narrative assignment encourages students to explore short stories from various texts provided from Latin America, China, and European collections. Students construct spaces and characters illustrating major transitional moments within the plot. Symbolism and metaphor are explored in this project to introduce visual meaning to designs. This is usually the first project in the introductory digital design course, using Photoshop to practice seamless design and compositional narrative through space and figures.
